Today, Secretary of the Treasury Scott K.H. Bessent held a meeting with the United Arab Emirates National Security Advisor, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The discussions focused on reinforcing the economic, investment, and national security ties between the United States and the UAE.

Secretary Bessent expressed his intention to strengthen these relations further during his tenure. He also highlighted the need for collaboration in addressing Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs and its backing of terrorist activities that contribute to regional instability.
