Secretary of the Treasury Scott K.H. Bessent is set to travel to Banff, Canada, on May 20. His visit aims to participate in the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors’ Meeting.

While in Banff, Secretary Bessent plans to emphasize addressing global economic imbalances and non-market practices affecting both G7 and non-G7 countries. He will also discuss the importance of generating growth led by the private sector.
