Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan on Apr. 15 to discuss ongoing economic cooperation between the United States and Saudi Arabia. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing joint initiatives.

The discussion comes as both countries continue to work together in areas of mutual interest, including economic policy and information sharing. During their meeting, Bessent and al-Jadaan signed a Tax Information Exchange Agreement, marking a step forward in financial collaboration.

Bessent acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s continued cooperation and resilience since the start of the Iranian conflict. He also thanked al-Jadaan for Saudi Arabia’s partnership.
