Treasury calls for large position reports on specific bonds

The U.S. Department of the Treasury has issued a call for Large Position Reports from entities whose positions in the 4-3/4% Treasury Bonds of November 2043 equaled or exceeded $1.6 billion as of December 19, 2023, or December 29, 2023.

Entities are required to submit separate reports for each date on which their positions met or surpassed the reporting threshold. Those with positions below $1.6 billion on these dates are exempt from submitting reports.

Reports must be received by the Treasury before noon (ET) on July 15, 2024. They should include the necessary position and administrative information and can be submitted via Treasury’s LPR webform at https://www.treasurydirect.gov/laws-and-regulations/gsa/lpr-form/. Alternatively, reports may be faxed to (202) 504-3788 if there are difficulties using the webform.
