Federal Reserve Board ends enforcement action with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation

The Federal Reserve Board has announced the end of an enforcement action involving Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, based in Tokyo, and its New York branch. The written agreement, which began on April 23, 2019, was officially terminated on September 4, 2025.

The Board stated: "The Federal Reserve Board on Tuesday announced the termination of the enforcement action listed below:

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Tokyo, Japan and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation New York Branch, New York, New York
