The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has appointed John Grady, Warren E. Moore, and Brian Schaller to its Economic and Community Advisory Council (ECAC). Grady serves as senior vice president and Northeast region executive of Wexford Science & Technology, LLC; Moore holds the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer of Inspira Health; and Schaller is the president of Wawa.
Loree D. Jones Brown, chief executive officer of Philabundance, has been appointed as the chair of the council. Steve Voskuil, chief financial officer of The Hershey Company, has been named the vice chair.
The ECAC, established in 2008, comprises leaders from businesses, nonprofit organizations, academic institutions, and various sectors. It advises the Philadelphia Fed’s senior leadership about emerging trends and market conditions in the Third Federal Reserve District. The council also promotes inclusive regional economic growth through partnerships across the private and public sectors.
John Grady brings over 35 years of experience in public-private partnerships and economic development to his role. Since joining Wexford in 2020, he has focused on developing relationships and managing a project portfolio to expand the Wexford Knowledge Communities in the Northeast. Prior to Wexford, Grady served in senior roles at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, including president and CEO.
Warren E. Moore oversees Inspira Health’s operations across hospitals and health centers. His career includes 23 years at RWJ Barnabas Health, where he occupied positions such as CEO of Children’s Specialized Hospital. Moore has also worked in executive roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital.
Brian Schaller is responsible for multiple functions at Wawa, including finance and operations. Joining the company in 2002, Schaller has advanced through various leadership roles, achieving the position of president in 2023. His previous experience includes audit management at Deloitte & Touche.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks in the United States. It plays a crucial role in formulating and implementing monetary policy and provides supervision and financial services to various institutions within its geographic area, which includes eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.
