Moody's launches Maxsight platform for enterprise-wide global risk navigation

Moody's has introduced Maxsight, a new platform aimed at helping businesses manage and understand risks associated with third-party relationships, supply chains, and compliance processes. The launch comes as organizations grapple with increasing risks such as financial crime, geopolitical instability, and complex global counterparty networks.

The platform is designed to handle the evolving nature of risk factors by offering enhanced data quality and capabilities. It streamlines data acquisition, improves monitoring and reporting, and facilitates a unified view of risk across various workflows. This approach aims to bridge gaps between existing organizational data systems while supporting external data integration.

Maxsight provides shared access to critical risk data, enabling different teams within an organization to collaborate effectively on risk management and compliance tasks. It allows for executive-level reporting that combines multiple sources from Moody’s databases to offer a comprehensive view of risks across entities.

Keith Berry, Head of Corporates and Governments at Moody’s, commented: “Today, businesses face unprecedented challenges in managing the interconnected and ever-changing risks associated with their customers, partners and suppliers. Maxsight provides organizations with essential insights to build a complete picture of who they are doing business with, mitigate risks, and seize opportunities.”

Helen Rider, Managing Director of Global Sales at Moody’s added: "We believe Maxsight will be a game-changer for our customers, offering a powerful, unified view of risk that integrates real-time data into automated workflows. This platform will support businesses to navigate complex risk landscapes, from sanctions to compliance to supplier risk management."

Maxsight also offers AI-driven analytics and comprehensive datasets that can enhance customer and supplier relationships by automating processes like onboarding or sanctions compliance. The platform supports role-based user experiences and customizable workflows that highlight interconnected risks while uncovering opportunities within counterparty networks.
