Today, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen met with Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai to discuss the strengthening economic ties and the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
Secretary Yellen highlighted United States-Vietnam cooperation on bolstering supply chain resilience and the new U.S.-Vietnam Macroeconomic and Financial Policy Dialogue between the Treasury and the State Bank of Vietnam. She also conveyed her support for the advancement of Vietnam’s Just Energy Transition Partnership.
