The Federal Reserve, the central bank of the United States, released the minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting held on April 30–May 1, 2024. The minutes were made public on May 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
The minutes for each regularly scheduled meeting of the Committee are typically published three weeks after the policy decision day. These minutes provide descriptions of economic and financial conditions based solely on information available to the Committee at the time of the meeting.
