Stephen I. Miran was sworn in as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System on September 16, 2025. The ceremony took place with Judge Elizabeth L. Branch from the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit administering the oath.

Miran’s nomination came from President Trump on September 2, 2025, and he received confirmation from the United States Senate on September 15, 2025. His term is set to conclude on January 31, 2026.
