The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond has announced new director appointments for 2025. The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System has appointed Lisa Lawson as chair and Halsey Cook as deputy chair of the Board of Directors. Lawson is the president and CEO of the Annie E. Casey Foundation in Baltimore, Maryland, while Cook serves as president and CEO of Milliken & Company in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Additionally, James F. “Jimmy” Goodmon Jr., president and COO of Capitol Broadcasting in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been selected by the Charlotte Board of Directors to serve as chair. Leslie D. Hale, president and COO of RLJ Lodging Trust in Bethesda, Maryland, will chair the Baltimore Board of Directors.

The Richmond Fed expressed gratitude to Jodie W. McLean, Bernie W. Mazyck, and William J. McCarthy for their previous service as chairs for the Richmond, Charlotte, and Baltimore boards respectively.

Furthermore, William H. “Bill” Rogers has been chosen by the Richmond Fed Board of Directors to serve on the Federal Advisory Council for 2025.

The Richmond Fed is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that collaborate with the Board of Governors to maintain economic stability across regions including the Carolinas, District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and most parts of West Virginia.
