The Economic Scholars Program is set to take place on April 21, 2025. This event is organized by the Federal Reserve’s Fourth District, which encompasses Ohio and parts of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Kentucky. The program offers undergraduate students an opportunity to present their research in a conference setting.

Participants will have the chance to understand the dynamics of an economic research conference, engage with peers, and explore internship and employment opportunities with the Federal Reserve. This hybrid event can be attended either in person in Cleveland or virtually.

Sessions from last year’s Economic Scholars Program are available for viewing through video links provided in the 2024 program agenda. Those interested can find more information about the program dates in a detailed flyer or contact clevelandeconomicoutreach@clev.frb.org for inquiries.

The Federal Reserve’s mission includes producing indicators and datasets that inform public understanding of economic conditions such as inflation and employment. It also supervises financial institutions and supports American consumers’ financial security while maintaining stability within payment systems for the US Treasury.

“We serve the American people as part of the US central bank,” states a representative from the organization. “We support the US economy and our region by studying economic conditions and issues that impact our communities.”
