The Center for Pacific Basin Studies at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has announced that its 2025 Asia Economic Policy Conference will take place on November 20-21, 2025, in San Francisco.

Researchers interested in participating are invited to submit papers for consideration by March 31, 2025. Additional details about the submission process can be found in the official Call for Papers.

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is part of the U.S. central banking system and serves the Twelfth Federal Reserve District. This district includes nine western states—Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawai’i, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington—as well as American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The institution focuses on advancing monetary policy and financial systems with an emphasis on maximum employment and price stability.

“Our two key goals of maximum employment and price stability—known as the Fed’s dual mandate—we work toward supporting an economy that works for everyone,” according to a statement from the SF Fed.
