Federal bank regulatory agencies plan to hold a hybrid public outreach meeting on October 30, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. The meeting is part of the agencies’ review of regulations under the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act (EGRPRA), which requires them to review their regulations at least once every ten years. This process aims to identify outdated or unnecessary regulatory requirements for certain supervised institutions.

The upcoming outreach meeting will allow stakeholders to share their views on various regulatory categories. These include Applications and Reporting; Powers and Activities; International Operations; Consumer Protection; Directors, Officers and Employees; Money Laundering; Rules of Procedure; Safety and Soundness; Securities; Banking Operations; Capital; and the Community Reinvestment Act.

Individuals who wish to provide oral comments at the meeting—either virtually or in person—must register by October 22, 2025. They are required to specify which regulatory category or categories they intend to discuss. The agencies will inform selected individuals if they are chosen to present comments.

Advance registration is also necessary for those who want to attend as in-person observers. Further information, including a virtual attendance link, will be posted on the EGRPRA website’s outreach page.

The agencies indicated that more public meetings will be announced in the future.
